After graduating from DeVRY in March of 2003, Brian and Danielle began to examine their future and the direction in which their lives were headed. For the most part, they were trying to decide what type of job Brian would be most happy with and how did God want  to use them. After some long discussions and knowing that Brian wasn't the corporate type,  they began discussing the option of joining the Army. The ARMY? They, along with others, questioned their insanity. But in the end, the decision was made together and with much prayer. Brian went into a local recruiting office a few days later and on May 6th 2003, it was time for him to start basic training at Ft. Benning, GA. Being separated from one another  for 10 weeks made Brian and Danielle's relationship with GOD and each other stronger than it had ever been.

After completing basic training, Brian was sent to Ft. Gordon, GA to complete his Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as a 74 Bravo. For the next 15 weeks, Danielle would drive 3 hours one-way just to spend Saturday and Sunday with him.  On some weekends they could not leave post and sometimes they couldn't see each other at all. It was very hard for them, yet they knew they  were lucky to have Brian's training so close to home that driving to see him was actually possible. By the end of October 2003, Danielle left her job and apartment in Gainesville to move to Augusta to be closer to Brian. It turned out to be well worth it because they were able to see each other almost every night. Brian graduated from AIT on October 29th but remained at Ft. Gordon for additional training. This lasted well past Christmas and into the next year.

On February 11th, they were informed that Brian would be  part of the 66th Military Intelligence Group out of  Darmstadt, Germany. This was very exciting news yet at the same time it was a little scary. Brian and Danielle were about to continue their life long journey together in a country far far away.  Brian left from Atlanta on February 29, 2004 to report to his unit. After 41 days, of being apart, military housing finally came available and they were reunited in Germany together.  For the first time in their marriage Brian and Danielle did not have to worry about school, jobs, or money. It was finally time for them to start living life to the fullest. And now they want to share some of that with you....

On December 6th 2006 Brian completed his military enlistment and began working as a government contractor as a Web Developer. We moved to house down in Mauer, Germany just outside of Heidelberg. Shortly after settling into our new home and job we found out we were expecting our first child, Waylon Nathaniel, who was born August 15th, 2007.

In February of 2009, Brian changed jobs to become a DoD Government Civilian worker.  The same week that he started his new job, we moved into a beautiful house in St. Leon-Rot just outside of Heidelberg, and our 2nd son Wyatt Daniel was born.  We have undergone some major changes recently but they only seem to get better and better.  We are at such a happy place in our lives, we can't wait to see what is in store for us next.  And so the story continues...

Thanks for visiting and we hope that this website gives each of you an insight into our life.
