Winter Wonderland at Edelweiss...

When Brians mom came to visit we headed to Edelweiss Lodge and Resort. We were so excited to go there because it is one of our favorite places and we knew they had a pool for Waylon to try, plus great food and a fun cozy setting.

On the Train...

Brian and his mom get up early one morning to go to one of the highest peaks in Germany. There was so much snow though they only made it half way up before they had to stop the trains.

Snowed in...

After getting off the train, they were waiting to come back down and stopped for hot chocolate. Here is a pic of how high the snow was up on the windows.

Blizzard...

Even in November the Snow was coming down.

Tuckered Out...

After a long day, here the two are taking a little nap in bed.

First attempt in the Pool...

Waylon loved the water. We even bought him a baby size pair of Speedos, they were sooo cute.

Ok dad, I think I would rather swim...

He didn't mind posing with his daddy, it didn't matter as long as he was in the water.

A Family Affair...

The best thing about being at Edelweiss was getting to swim everynight we were there with Waylon.

The Warm Light...

Even though the pool was heated the light in the water was nice to be in front of, nice and warm.

Here I am trying to help him float on his back, his little butt floated more than the rest of him.

Needing another Nap after Swimming...

The pool wore him out everynight. He slept better than he had any other time since he was born...hmmm...maybe we can get one put in at our house?

Mommy and Baby Swim time...

Here we are on the second night with another go round in the pool.

Memaw swim lessons...

By the second night he was kicking his little feet all over the place in the water. I think he really thought he was swimming.

Neuschwanstein Castle...

On our way back home we made a stop at the Neuschwanstein Castle for Brians mom to see.

Too Cold...

It was so cold outside that day that even with little Waylon bundled up we didn't get to go to the top of the mountain to see the Castle. But that was ok, we had fun anyways.
